Historique :	Ancienne collection La Forest-Divoune (acquisition le 26 juillet 1938). Acquises avec le concours de la CNMH. Cette suite de tentures est citée dans les inventaires (1627) des ateliers de Paris de François de La Planche et des séries perdues existaient aussi dans le mobilier de Versailles jusqu'en 1789 et chez celui de Cinq-Mars et de l'abbé d'Effiat en 1643. Mais cette tenture était restée inconnue de Fenaille et provient avec certitude du château d'Uriage (Isère) dont elle ornait les salons. Les cartons seraient l'Oeuvre du peintre Laurent Guyot qui vivait au 17e siècle et se serait inspiré de modèles du 16e siècle.
