Historique :	Atelier parisien. Oeuvre exécutée entre 1632 et 1638. Cette tapisserie a été léguée à l'association diocésaine avec affectation à l'église Saint-Georges, par Mme Clément-Bayard, dont la famille est originaire de cette commune.

Précision sur l'inscription :	Armoiries : armoiries d'Anne de Lorraine, entourées d'une cordelière de veuve, veuve d'Henri Ier de Savoie, duc de Nemours, ce qui fixe l'exécution de cette pièce entre 1632, date de son veuvage, et 1638, date de sa mort (au milieu de la bordure supérieure). Marque d'auteur : MF ainsi que la marque d'Henri IV, un P suivi d'une fleur de lys, fondateur des ateliers de tissage.
