Historique :	Oeuvre exécutée entre 1236 et 1260. L'archevêque de Bourges, dont il est question dans l'inscription est Philippe Berruyer (1236-1260), ce qui donne la date de construction du chevet de l'église et celle du vitrail, qui en décorait une fenêtre. Ce fragment de vitrail décorait primitivement une des fenêtres du chevet. Masqué par un tabernacle du 17e siècle, il fut découvert en 1875 par M. Chauvallon père, architecte chargé de la restauration de l'église et fut placé, après remise en plomb, dans une fenêtre de la nef, entre deux panneaux de grisaille modernes.
